…I’ve gotten a bit off track lately with blogging so thought it was time to re-introduce myself and what I blog about!
CharlotteMusha.co.uk started back in Feburuary 2018 as a Personal Finance and Lifestyle blog
The blog was meant to be a place for me to record how we were doing money wise, share what I was learning along the way and just be an online diary (life feels like it goes so fast sometimes that I want to make sure I remember as much of it as possible!)
We’ve come a long way since then, we’re debt free and have cashflowed a lot of home rennovations but I’ve been pretty lax on sharing updates on our money journey and life in general here on the blog.
The problem was that ‘life’ got in the way, which seems like such a rubbish reason but its true – I started some new side hustle businesses that grew far quicker than we anticipated and I was working up to and over 60 hour weeks at some points. On top of that the house work still needed doing, dinners and food shopping had to be done, trying to see family/friends/have a social life had to fit in there somewhere too – so when it came to things like writing blog posts I just didn’t have the energy or brain power most weeks to sit down and type.
Last month I decided to cut back my hours and take a bit of a back seat on some of our side hustle businesses to be able to focus on a few other projects and to be honest, to focus on myself and trying to sort out my rather hectic life and house.
We’ve got some pretty big goals that we’re aiming for now and I’ve got a renewed sense of focus so I’m going to be sharing more of our life, home projects, financial goals and how I’m trying to get our life in order.
